: In March2001 ,
parisians have to choose their new major. As the other french cities the
elections' days will be March 11th and 18 th 2001 .This is one of
the main Parisian preoccupation this month.
Paris to see
: One on my favorite place in Paris is "le
Musee Rodin",the reason is perhaps because it was the garden
where I used to go for playing when I was a child as I was living just
besides. In my childhood, the statues were like toys to
climb on (even if it was forbidden), and very useful to play
hide-and-seek. On an other hand, the pound at the center of the
park was a large sea for me with so many sweet ducks (which are still
there today!). Famous statues can be seen in the open air
museum: Le Penseur, Les bourgeois de Calais, La Porte de L'enfer, Eve
..and my college is still just at the back of "Musee
Rodin"garden !
Opening everyday except monday 9:30 am to
5 pm (october to march) and 9:30pm to 6:45pm (april to september) the
admission in the garden and in the museum is 5 francs.(less
than 1 USD).
But, if you have a child under 6 years old with you or if
you are under 18 years, the access is FREE for you
(garden only). Furthermore, you have the priority, so you do not have to
wait in the line (often very long!), you have just to smile to the
keeper.
In the garden, you can also take cafes, sandwiches and salads in the
unique small typical restaurant : it is a little place of paradise just
in front of Invalides Dome and prices are not expensive.

I told you about Victor Hugo Ma
petite lettre de PARIS- feb 2001 . He
is the original athor of Notre-Dame de Paris .To see Paris from the "Towers of
Notre-Dame" like Quasimodo and Esmeralda, you will have
to climb more than 100 steps stair to reach the top (no
elevator of course): each tower is 69 meters tall. Thus from this one of
the oldest places of the France Capital, you will have a nice view
of Paris and you will say hello to the Gargouilles.

Paris olympic
Paris city is officialy a candidate for the
